UNB has recently launched a new 90 day notice product on its 10th Anniversary. Following are its main features:
- Can only be opened online (not available through branches)
- AER 3.12%
- Interest payment frequency: half yearly
- Minimum deposit of £2,000
- Maximum deposit cap of £500,000
- 90 day notice for withdrawal of funds
- Penalty for early withdrawal
- Available as individual or joint accounts only
- Must be UK resident and 18 years of age or older
- Must have an account with an existing UK bank
- Minimum rate guaranteed until June 2013 is 2.75% AER per annum
